Yale University
Hi, I'm Ryder! I'm a graduate of The Branson School, currently a sophomore at Yale, majoring in Biomedical Engineering. In high school, I graduated with a 4.0 GPA, receiving 5s on AP Calculus BC, English, Statistics, and Chinese. In addition to being an AP and National Merit Commended Scholar, I've been tutoring for more than 4 years in a variety of K-12 subjects, and strongly believe in the benefit of peer-to-peer tutoring. Outside of my classes at Yale, I'm often editing and illustrating for the Yale Scientific Magazine, working as a certified EMT, and cooking for our undergraduate culinary club. I always enjoy tinkering on a good maker project, experimenting with a new recipe (don't hesitate to share!), or hitting it out on the tennis court. In my free time, you'll find me backpacking…but mostly getting lost on trail, volunteering with Scouting America, playing the ukulele, reading a good biography, and of course hanging out with friends and family. I can't wait to meet and work with you!
